Display real-time system processes and resource usage

Required Packages

Options

Batch mode (-b) Batch mode (-b)

Non-interactive mode, useful for scripting and output redirection

Number of iterations (-n)

Exit after this many display updates (useful with -b)

Update delay in seconds (-d)

Delay between screen updates (e.g. 1, 0.5, 5)

Show only user's processes (-u)

Filter by effective user name or UID

Monitor specific PIDs (-p)

Comma-separated list of PIDs to monitor

Sort by field (-o)
